Based on a real filled donut, the piece preserves its artificial textures, folds and imperfections through digital reconstruction and hand assembly.
The original donut was captured from 903 photographs and angles, then recreated through 3D resin printing and hand painting.
What was once an inexpensive late-night snack becomes something between emotional souvenir, design object and food replica.
